I watched all Dair scenes, and you can see the buildup from complete strangers, to enemies, to friendship, to lovers… all for them to crush it with her not saying I love you back, which made Dan think she was still in love with Chuck. The trouble Chuck was going through was the ulitimate test of Chuck and Blair’s friendship, and SPOILER ‼️bringing Bart back made it even more complicated because it brings back all the drama that came in to both Blair and chucks relationship. Was a great twist don’t get me wrong, but Blair and Chucks relationship should have stayed as friends. Dan was always there when Blair was stuck, and alone. Dan was there when Chuck traded her for a hotel.. idk what the writers were expecting, but they created Dair fans, it was raw, it was real. Rich girl vs poor man from Brooklyn, the classic romance novel. Serena was no friend to Blair, I don’t know how they stayed friends after what Serena did, despite Blair confused with her own relationship with Dan. Not her first rodeo in that sense. The writers and producers made GG out to be so toxic, that not even the most healthiest relationship gets a happy ending.
