Jesus is God :
Jesus was God from the very beginning, as stated in John 1:1-2: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning." This verse emphasizes that Jesus (referred to as the "Word") existed with God before any creation took place. To become human, Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, which serves as the mediator between God and humanity. This is illustrated in Luke 1:35, where the angel Gabriel tells Mary, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; so the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God." Through the Holy Spirit, Jesus was able to take on human form while still being fully divine, bridging the gap between God and mankind. The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in the incarnation of Jesus, enabling Him to fulfill His mission of redemption. Additionally, Jesus warned about the seriousness of rejecting the Holy Spirit in Matthew 12:31-32, where He stated, "And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come." This underscores the importance of recognizing and accepting the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
