I’m sorry but I disagree. I bought my house at 23. My house has 200k in equity, I have a home warranty that covers anything if it breaks down (I just pay 75$), while everyone’s rent is being raised sky high, my mortgage is fixed… etc etc

I love owning a home. I have no complaints. mortgage payments repairs maintenance doesn't bother me at all . I have more of a piece of mind owning than renting .

Ppl do what’s best for you and stop listing to social media opinion. Be a renter be a home owner be whatever however if you don’t play rent you get put out if you don’t pay taxes you lose your home. I only have to pay my taxes no mortgage which is very manageable. And I put saving up for my repairs. When y’all paying that high rent what do yall think yall paying for? Property taxes home repairs whatever it’s all the same

The only reason people can’t buy homes is because of their credit. Rent is not cheap nowadays. And you have a higher risk of being put out if you get in a home. They won’t automatically take your home if you fall on hard times.

Helpfull hint: if you wanna pay off your house faster? Make an extra mortgage payment every year and you will pay off your house 5 years earlier, banks don't want you to know if you make 13 payments Every year, instead of 12 that it actually saves you money and speeds up ownership...

And then, let’s talk about how these houses are overly expensive and unless you got a good job or salary… you’re gonna need multiple incomes or multiple people to live in that home to maintain everything.
