The sun is the best analogy and is used by the church fathers. The sphere that we see is the source (The Father) and the light (The Son) it emits is sent by the source and wherever the light is, warmth can be felt (The Holy Spirit). All of these 3 attributes are of the same sun, can’t be separated and if you remove one of them then it isn’t a sun anymore.

The Trinity makes up of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are all equally one God, due to their shared essence. But they are distinct in terms of personhood/role, making them not each other.

But sharing the same nature isn't enough to make them one entity. The persons would just be 3 instantiations of the divine nature. You then clarified that they were distinct, but not seperate, but that just sounds extremely like God is composed of the 3 persons; like you could differentiate between the parts. But that's partialism and also doesn't work out logically, as the Trinity wants each person by itself to be 100% God (which isn't necessarily a problem if this refers to the nature, but nature alone is, again, not enough to make it 1 entity). This is just really confusing to me

so u basically give the example of pens have the same nature (even tho they’re different beings) and humans have the same nature (still different entities/beings) then say it’s different with the trinity since they don’t oppose each other and are infinite lol?? how does that make them god. if they don’t oppose each other and are infinite it just means they don’t oppose each other and are infinite. infinity ≠ identity, non opposition ≠ identity
