this like many American products nowadays is something that only allowa shortcut at the expense of the finished product those vents fail and than the customer has to pay to replace it if they know its there and if they dont you are playing games to find it instead of just doing the full job

You shouldn’t use AAV if you can vent a DWV system traditionally. They are not allowed in some cities I live in
