I was born in Southeast Idaho and spent 20 years in western Idaho. I spent a lot of time in the Owyhee mountains. I've talked to a lot of locals. people who've had property up there for years and years. And none of them mentioned anything about any kind of sheep snatchers. Even on the duck valley Indian reservation down along the Nevada border, there are no such Legends. And that reservation is such that sharing something like that would draw tourists and thus draw more income for them. so they have no reason not to share. The guy is making up stories just to get views. I will say, having been all through the oahes, it can be a spooky place. It is extremely remote to the point that there are signs stating that if you go beyond a certain point, then you will be charged for the cost to come rescue you and there's a significant chance you may never be found. One only needs to stand at the Hawaii canyon overlook just off the Mountain home Air Force bombing range to get an idea of exactly how remote that place is. there's a reason why the Air Force put a base out there and a bombing range. It's very remote and very far away from people. silver City, not far from Nampa, has some ghost Legends that are worth a listen. but nothing like what this guy describes.

The scariest thing I’ve been through was going trick or treating when I was 10. We got invited into an elderly couples house and they bribed us with king sized candy bars. We sit on there couch and they bring out a camera and start recording us. They asked us what our names were, where we live, and who our parents are. We heard a noice in the back of there house and they pushed us out there front door.

I live on the edge of the owyhees. Its one of the most beautiful places and i love it, but I don't go out there at night alone anymore. Very rarely anyway. It holds an energy you can feel. Like your intuition letting you know not to be there, i cant quite explain it. Its creepy af, even on the edge of the desert. Everytime it feels like something is with you or watching you, it almost feels like something comes back with you. Lots of ufo and weird things in the sky, too. Ive heard many first hand accounts and ive seen things too.
