It looks aesthetic but from a consumer point of view, it's an inconvenient UX design. Many websites have similar ux and honestly hate scrolling through them

they are spectacular for web designers terrible for all other users and also they are always shown on best resolution, desktop, no effect on mobile... where most of the traffic is... just esthetic with no purpose
