Dubai Chocolate Banana Bread 🍫✨ I got a couple requests for this one and it was so worth it! 💚 (recipe makes a 9x5 loaf pan) Ingredients: ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted & slightly cooled ½ cup (100g) brown sugar, packed ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar 2 eggs, room temp 1½ tsp vanilla extract 3 medium overripe bananas, mashed ¼ cup (60g) sour cream or greek yogurt, room temp  1¼ cups (160g) all-purpose flour, spooned & leveled or weighed (don’t pack it in) ½ cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder ½ tsp cornstarch (optional) 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt 1 cup (170g) chocolate chips *I didn’t have pistachios on hand but I definitely recommend subbing half of the chocolate chips for chopped roasted pistachios! 😋 Topping: Pistachio Kataifi Mixture (add as much as you want!) Melted chocolate, to drizzle Pistachio spread, to drizzle (melt very briefly in the microwave if needed)  *I love using a store bought pistachio kataifi mixture to save time when I can. To make your own, toast shredded kataifi (with a little butter ~1 tbsp) in a pan over medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes until golden. Transfer to a bowl and fold in pistachio cream/spread until you reach your desired consistency.  Instructions: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line/grease a 9x5 loaf pan. Whisk together the melted butter and both sugars.  Mix in eggs and vanilla. Add in the mashed bananas and sour cream/greek yogurt and mix until combined.  In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet until just combined. Don’t over mix. Gently fold in chocolate chips (and pistachios if you have). Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean/with a few moist crumbs.  Let it cool completely. Add the pistachio kataifi topping. Drizzle with melted chocolate and pistachio spread.  Enjoy!  #bakingrecipe #dubaichocolate #bananabread #Recipe
