‼️ Couples camping hack ‼️ We are ALWAYS looking for ways to improve our tent sleep system so I can’t believe it took us this long to make the change from one double to 2 singles for our sleeping bag setup! WHY 2 singles? - They pack down SO MUCH BETTER than one massive double. We used to have a really hard time packing around our double bag since it pretty much took up the entirety of our backpacking pack - The mummy style is actually much warmer than the box style on the double - With 2 singles, we’re able to go on solo adventures or adventures with friends without each other - We can customize the warmth (and length) of our individual sides of the bag! I sleep so much colder than Sentry so I opted for a 0 degree bag, while he got a 15 degree bag. And Sentry is obviously quite a bit taller than me so for his half he got a “long” version, giving him enough room to stretch his legs - We cut the weight of our sleep system in HALF… I actually couldn’t believe how much less it weighs to have the 2 singles than our one double. Game changer WHICH ones? Okay this is important!!! You cannot just zip 2 random singles together… it will not work. You need to get the same brand & make sure they have a compatable zip feature! We have the @seatosummit altitude and the @seatosummit ascent. They are both down filled and super lightweight- perfect for backpacking. They also compress down to an impressively small size and each have multiple vent zips you can use for warmer nights. & they zip together seamlessly 😎 We are LOVING the change so far, but curious as to what you think?!
