ECE here, I suggest, ece graduates, try CAAP aviation industry! Underrated but the security of tenure is there (since government si caap), also competitive salary. Also your profession as an ece will be very useful in this field of work. 😊

ECE grad and licensed here, kayang kaya mag adopt, may schools kase na nag ooffer ng specializations like networking, biomed, AI/ML, cybersecurity and etc. some ECEs like me napunta sa IT, kaya kahit na ang curriculum ay traditional ECE, anjan parin ang technology at hangang anjan ang technology anjan din ang ECE, not to mention semicon companies na nagsulputan sa pinas and yung underrated na aviation sa CAAP. I was hired din sa isang traditional ECE job, unfortunately my bills cant keep up that's why nasa ICT ako ngayon which is under RA9292 ay scope parin namen. Yun lang po engr.

As a ECE Grad na Data Science Path currently, Senior Data Analyst, I've seen that ECE path career in ph ay limited option lang either telco or semi conductor company, unless mag upskill to learn Tech Stack such as Data Science or Cybersecurity. Which is in the long run, great career trajectory. My thoughts lang, ECE grads cam be someone na hobbyist then help yung mga thesis students or be prof. Other than that, tbh, In the near future baka ang ECE mag integrate na tuluyan with EE, since somehow similar foundations naman na.

What ece so unique is yung pinag aaralan natin. An ece can enter an ee, me field kahit pang cpe eh kayang pasukin ng ece. And problema lang talga hindi laht ng school na nag ooffer ng ece ay may elective or specialization track.

80% sa SW + 20% sa HW sa industry? parang mali boss. The problem with ECE is masyado nag focus sa isang side, either SW or HW. Ang binabanggit mo lang ay puro SW side, ibahin mo ang nasa RnD( IC design/Testing/OEM). With the dawn of AI, IT industry ang unang kakainin due to automation.

Kapag licensed ece na kayo apply kayo sa lgu niyo kasi required na meron talagang ece sa office of the building official and hopefully na basa ko lang sa post ng iecep na meron pinapasang batas na maglalagay ng electronics division every city or municipality under engineering department and now nasa first reading pa lang sa hor hopefully ay ma approvan para more opportunity sa ating mga ece’s.
