Snapback Series has started ✨ Btw my body is natural no surgeries no lasers and no zempy 💉 Okay so I used to be a PERSONAL TRAINER. Gym 7 days a week, not just for clients, for me too. Big booty era, toned, lifting heavy, I knew everything about fitness. Literally my job! Then I went through a toxic relationship and gained 53 lbs 😅 I’m an emotional eater. I lost myself a little. Here’s the wild part: I knew EVERYTHING about the gym and still couldn’t lose it. Started blaming genetics. Maybe it’s the thyroid that runs in my family, maybe it’s the diabetes on my grandma’s side. Every excuse in the book. Turns out knowing wasn’t the problem, my body was in fight or flight. Lifting heavy, cardio, dieting on top of dieting... none of it was working. All I had left was basic physics: eat less than you burn. Real culprit? Inflammation. The more I pushed in the gym, the hungrier my cravings got. Nearly impossible to stay in a deficit when your body’s working against you! So I stripped it ALL the way down. Started walking 10-15k steps a day and here’s what happened: - Inflammation dropped (face puffy, stomach bloated) - Actually easy to stick with, every single day - Cortisol went down long term - Sun + fresh air did something for my mental health nothing else could - I genuinely enjoyed it, new route every day, no dread For physical activity that’s ALL I DID. Added a weighted vest + ankle weights so I was still maintaining muscle and indirectly working them along the way, because i can’t have back pain mkay 😂 For you it might not be walking! Pilates, yoga, whatever low intensity movement you actually love. But this is why I truly believe low intensity is the move for women: it works WITH your nervous system instead of adding more stress to a body that’s already stressed 🤍 PS you perfect the way you are or your goals are build a booty, get toned, build muscle. It’s hard to reach your goals when you’re constantly fatigued and inflamed. Try switching up your routine and giving your body more rest ! . . . . #Inflammation #transformation #bloating #puffy
