I remember him choking me till I went dizzy and then 2 minutes later he was sobbing apologising trying to hug me and pass me and ice Lolly to “ help my throat feel better” all because I tried to run btw. He threw bleach all over me and ripped my top, I tried to run out the front door and he locked it so I ran to the back and thats when he choked me. He just acted like everything was fine after. It took me so much courage to leave him. I had to realise the good moments- don’t outweigh the bad. Your so strong and I’m proud of you I hope you heal

I hate reading other women saying why didnt you just leave, just leave. It's not as easy as just leaving or kicking them out. No one should judge anyone not leaving unless they have been through it. Proud of you and every other person that finally got that strength and courage to leave and now leaving their best life! ❤️

i wish i could explain it to someone who never had to deal with it, cause when i try to they just never get it. i’m so sorry and i hope you got out of that situation and are thriving, that shit really does change you and after so long you… you start to question reality and if you let it get so bad you question everything, and you don’t wanna leave the house or do anything or talk to anyone. you start to feel like maybe you are the problem.. when in reality you just needed to get out of the environment and everything will change.
