@railway_everywhere: Mind blown 🤯 Watch this freight train uncouple itself with ONE pull – no climbing, no danger! This is the Digital Automatic Coupler (DAK) revolutionizing rail in Europe… could US trains get this next? Game changer or nah? Drop your thoughts below! 🚂🔥 #FreightTrain #RailwayTech #Engineering #FutureTech #TrainTok #MindBlown #tiktokusa #couplingtraincars #CreatorRewards
It’ll never work in America. We run trains with too much tonnage.

We’ve had automatic couplers in America for over 100 years. Uncouples from the side via lift lever and couples automatically. Just have to lace the air hose

Imagine the cost to switch over to this

We don’t even go in between to pull a pin. SMH

It’s a waist of time if guy has to still be there to separate it and who tying the hand brake and confirming the car won’t move? What if the coupling is on a curve who’s going to straighten out the knuckles?

Bro you gotta go further in between the cars to uncouple that one slowing production and making it way more unsafe. Why would they do this not to mention half the knuckles we have now are junk so those wouldn’t last. Just another thing they can use to fire us and try to strong arm the government to let them run one man crews.

It’s a joke, but this is what they want. It’ll be no engineer no conductor sad but true.

We have pin lifters on the side so we don't have to foul the area between the cars

so someone still has to pull or lift a lever? still have to go back there? what's the advantages again?

He still went between the cars…. Look how slow it took to do that. He still chocked a wheel…. Yeah all that makes production way slower. It’ll never happen.

Didn’t he just go In between to pull the pin? American cars have the pin lifters out away from the knuckle. 🤣

They don’t maintain the ones we have now, if we ever got them here they’d be junk in a year😂
