But in spring… it becomes pure magic. 😍🌸 During late March to early April, cherry blossoms cover the entire temple grounds, creating the famous “Sakura Daibutsu” scene, where the Great Buddha looks like it’s floating in a sea of pink petals. 🌸 🚆 How to get there: Take the Kintetsu Railway to Tsubosakayama Station (via the Yoshino Line). From there, you can take a local bus or walk uphill to the temple. ⚠️ Important during cherry blossom season: If you’re thinking of going by car, be prepared, it can take hours waiting in line. Parking fills up very early, and traffic around the mountain roads becomes extremely heavy. Even the local buses may get delayed or stop running properly because of congestion. You might end up walking from the station all the way to the temple, so wear comfortable shoes and plan extra time.
