I really like this one. Is the girl the intruder, looking over her shoulder to make sure she wasn't followed? Or is the door being opened by someone else, which is why she's startled? I like that both options are possible. Great painting.

this reminds me of when I was little and my mom used to take me with her when she used to clean offices/churches at night… this perfectly recreates that uneasy feeling of being in those places at night

I like how the painting is called “intruder” as you might thing think that the intruder would be whoever is coming into the computer lab and the little girl is scared, as she seems to be cautiously staring at the door. But it could also be the little girl, as it seems to be after hours due to the lighting giving the sense of it being late in the evening. No one else her age seems to be around. Maybe she’s trying to check if anyone is coming down the hallway in the large window behind her. Or she is about to be caught, so she’s looking at the only door in and out of the room frantically, as it’s the only “exit.”
