This is definitely where you see bright hieroglyphics, massive statues and painted burial chambers!! It makes sense since this was once the capital of the Egyptian empire in the Middle and New Kingdoms. The city is an absolute must visit. Make sure to get local guides for a good explanation because the history is DEEP.
