That’s true. I wrote off my Range Rover in 2022. Got audited for that year in 2024. Even though I qualified for write off but still they find little things during audits and got 14 k penalty🤷♂️immediate audit flag …

i have a masters and work in tax and ngl under obbba, you can write off interest you paid on new cars under form 1A 🚶🏻♀️but they have to send you a letter or something to prove you can write that off
