That's so strange. My Cadillac will not lock when the keys are left inside and my previous GMC didn't either.

Buy a ford. You can unlock your car from an airplane with the ford app.

For future: when this has happened to us. We call and act like we are panicking and our kids are locked int he car…no questions asked they unlock it almost instantly as soon as the locate your car. We did this for my husband’s GMC twice and both times worked like a charm. I think legally they have to unlock or something because the “kids” lives are at risk. A friend gave me this tip and it’s worked effortlessly! And no money out of my wallet!!!

I’m a huge critic of burnt toast theory… I’m pretty sure everything happened for a reason… I know it sucked but burned toast theory is real has saved my life more then once

We had this same issue a couple weeks ago with on star. Also i can’t leave my key fob in my car if it’s cold or it won’t work. Says no key detected.
