@nomadikh: While digging for samples I came across a record by Panna Fredda, an Italian progressive rock group from Rome formed in 1969 and part of the early prog scene there. They recorded just one album, released in 1971. It’s since been recognized as a classic piece of Italian prog. The vintage textures and experimental feel were too good to ignore, so I flipped it into a hip hop beat. Influences on this one: MF Doom, Madlib, J Dilla, Knxwledge. ##soulbeats##mpc##hiphopbeats##instrumental##boombap
