The US also doesn't have a bunch if Titantium, and the titanium we used to make the SR-71 we actually bought from Russia through several shell companies saying it was for a pizza oven.

Haven’t two Russian submarines been forced out of the water recently? One trying to escort an oil tanker from Venezuela and another i believe around Italy? Submarines are not suppose to come out of the water but Russian subs haven’t been doing too wells

Only one of their classes had titanium. They could only do the full depth a handful of times. It was a complete waste of money. To be fair, welding our hulls sucks too but not as bad as the titanium. 😏
