@drranganchatterjee: These devices serve as powerful distractions. Instead of learning to manage discomfort or negative emotions, many children turn to screens for immediate distraction. This habit hampers their ability to be present and engage fully in their lives, ultimately affecting their relationships, happiness, and overall mental health. Everything valuable stems from being present, and by relying on technology to distract, we risk losing that essential skill. Games are so addictive that my child is now 3 days off all games and devices forever. It was a struggle watching her have outburst doing everything to convince me to give it back to her but I am not willing to give in SO now iv seen a difference in her sleep and mood best thing I've ever done taking my child back off the game/media monster.I advise parents do your research before giving ipads or games to children your actually feeding them heroine.
