That makes no sense about the symptoms and needing help. 🙄 you may only need help with meds but you need help finishing sentences, remembering things, stuttering, stopping mid sentence. Those are all VALID dementia symptoms and yig may not need help talking but they impact your day which is what they really should be focusing on

My neurologist isn't sure yet about me because my MRI only showed small changes so now I am doing a full neuropsychological assessment. Did you do that by chance. He claims that it will help decide if it's a neurodegenerative issue.

Omg I swear we had the same experience. Borderline dementia, my neuro called it Premordial Dementia which basically means they are 99% sure it’s dementia but it’s in the “pre diagnostic” stage. You def have it

I think it's good that the doctor has labeled it borderline as you still are so incredibly capable. take it as a win, place my emphasis on your abilities and live life without it completely occupying your thoughts. Good news! 👏
