I mean he gain my respect at the end of volume 10 (iykyk) but at the same time, Zhenya's life was in danger countless times and he just stood doing nothing, if Zhenya wasn't the man he is, he would've been dead since a long time

I disagree in many aspects. Obviously he wouldn’t purposefully try to kill Zhenya but not because he ‘wouldn’t’ but because it would affect their image&position&pride. Vadim isn’t ‘submissive’ he knows exactly what he’s doing and how he could cover up&make an outcome&bend it to his own will. He didn’t order that kill out of submission or not having any other choice. It doesn’t work like that especially in such power plays.
