People are so stuck in the past, football consistently changes. There isn't one way of playing football.The amt of running new players do & their conditioning is top notch, they will be competitive. We saw the likes of terry against lesser teams back then😂😂😂

This arsenal team is nothing special individually but again modern tactics and arsenal tactics mean this arsenal team would cause problems in older generations of the PL. Modern fluid systems smother 442 formations with bodies in the midfield, pressing to smother counter attacks, older 443(diamond) formations also get smothered by the fluidity of bodies adapting in real time to the game. Modern football has become a game of effective strategy which has smothered out true ballers, individual ability and excitement. In the modern game even strikers have to get involved in defending and defenders have to be able to carry the ball forward.

Very Subjective, Gerrard Pique says players of his generation would struggle against modern football teams, due to the exact reason the dude in the Barcelona jersey just said. Pique argues that modern football teams are more Structured, understand pressing systems and Positional play.
