CVT is great when the belt is accessible and cheap. Makes sense for sleds and other power sports stuff. Just not cars

Nissan was subject to corporate espionage in my opinion. The CVT oil that was made by another company wasn't made to spec, and that's why they failed so much.

"Brilliant enginering" yet its the least reliable transmition ever made and not to forget they cost an arm amd leg to fix or rebuild

Mercedes C180 CDI cvt gearbox use a TCM to control the gearbox and need to code a new gearbox to the car so some cvt do use a computer box

I used to use CVT .. however .. Why is it so expensive to repair or rebuild if it has efficient parts???
