That looks like it could be an IVDD event. Please keep him calm and crated to allow him time to recover.

I would stop excess movement and use crate rest until his back has been checked just to be safe from spinal

Probably just pulled a muscle or something being that young they overdo it sometimes! I’d just try and keep him from jumping around too much and short walks only for a few days. Mine does this from time to time they’re dramatic little turds 😅 and definitely wouldn’t worry about ivdd - usually only presents from around age 3 upwards. Rare if it’s any younger x

Mine did the same. Just a sprain the vets gave pain meds and she was back to running around in a few days

My sausage has done this before! Was limping for a few days but vet had reassured he was just dramatic! Prescribed painkillers and was back to running round and barking at everyone in a matter of days!

OBie now has had xray, nothing showed up on the scan just about his hips been apart a tiny bit but he’s still only a pup so time to grow hopefully the limp will go after a few days he’s still eating and drinking okay and told to walk him abit more and give him pain relief xxx

stop letting him walk!!! he should be crated and not allowed to move unless it's to go to the toilet. if this is ivdd you're going to make it worse.
