why only argument against Linux is gaming support? most of the games work fine while those that don't work are because of the fotware companies behind them disabling support for Linux. and any other area(maybe also those that are depended around Adobe, even tho it already has some great alternatives) works just better.

I would recommend either debian or mint for those standard users coming from windows, I use mint personally with 0 issues.
