Honestly I think the best thing to do in a female friendship is to just focus on your relationship with your girls. They don’t have to meet ur man and u don’t have to meet theirs. It’s really a matter of decentering men completely and setting boundaries

i genuinely believe that this is not a real phenomenon but movies, media, etc push this to create a divide between women!! growing up i was told EVERYONE was jealous of me- i had to unlearn to relearn that there are valid reasons someone may dislike me and not everything is due to ‘pretty privilege’ or the inverse: ‘the price of being pretty.’ i believe 99% of women are not looking at their friends trying to find who’s the prettiest- the patriarchy wants us to believe that women are in constant competition, crumbling the moment they don’t feel like the ‘prettiest’. most women simply find their friends SO beautiful because they’ve formed deep friendships, admire them as people and women are just inherently attractive!
