You absolutely have to use 12 O .C. on composite decks. They're horrible TBH! It adds a lot framing materials which translates to a lot more $$$ even before the extra cost of the boards. And it gets hot AF in the summer heat.

🤔 For composite decking, we only do 12" span (which can be less than 12" OC depending on the pattern...). Beyond just the stiffness issues, most will begin telegraphing at 16s once the summer sun has gotten to them a few times.
