I left the protestant churches because the pastors always gave me surface level answers to my questions, or told me to stop thinking so hard. I joined the Catholic church where all priests have a bachelors first. Then 6-7 years of seminary. Most nuns I have met have a PHD. Now I never get surface answers and I am a happy camper. we each need something different.
