I left because he couldn’t commit. He wasn’t emotionally mature and it broke my heart to leave… after so many chances, after so much patience. I can’t eat, just sleep.. my life still moves on, I still go to work, smile with friends, workout, and live my life. But part of me wishes he will come back.. ready to give me all the parts he couldn’t before. Have accountability, not take my love for granted, fight for us, and never choose fear over us.. I think I’ll love him forever..

i just want to talk to them honestly, freely, like we always did, one last time. not for closure, when you love someone like that closure doesn’t really exist. just to honor that time in our lives that we shared, with perspective that only time apart could’ve brought us. calm, rational, honest. a maybe just to solidify that it was real, sometimes it feels like a dream i made up in my head. i journal what i would say to him, that helps for a moment.
