What are you doing about insurance. The only reason I’m hanging on until 65 is to become Medicare eligible.

Unfortunately I work with back stabbing bitches that pretend they are my friends but love to gossip. The work place is difficult. I’m ready to retire at 70. I worked hard and longer because I did not properly save.

Officially retired 4/15! Gave my notice last July age 62 started drawing SS and worked part-time through the winter while they searched for replacement finally put my foot down and said I was done. Age 63- planned 2 years to get any debt paid off and make a plan. It is very stressful trying to figure it out. If you keep your earned income low enough, you can get on the open market for health insurance. I know that is not benefiting to a lot of people, but for me it worked out. Two more years to Medicare.

I am retiring in 5 months at 58 and I am literally dancing around at work, I would leave tomorrow if it wasn't a FERS retirement.
