not to confuse daenerys’ realisation that she must use her dragons with that she will go mad and burn kings landing to the ground.. she comes to the realisation that some people (slavers & sons of the harpy) will never negotiate terms of peace, she will have to speak their language of violence - this doesn’t mean she will blatantly slaughter innocent people

She accepts her only purpose is to destroy? And her psyche snaps really? In her final chapter she was sick and the witch Quaithe visited her to remind her what the dragons know. Her visions there made her understand why she had to go back to advance. Hence her final scene with Drogon and the khalasar that was Drogo’s before death.

Super appreciate the comments on her sanity level. The show dropped the ball on justifying how she ends up doing what she did (And I do believe, if Martin were to ever finish these, that's how her story will end). In the books she's still across the sea and has been showing a mental decline for a good minute. Our girl has been THROUGH it in the books and it takes a heavy toll

Didn't she had those visions only while in the middle of nowhere and sick? I don't remember her having them in any other moment. I think you should make a version with what she did in the show but not in the books. There are a lot of differences that make you realize that book Dany is just way better. I don't see any descent into madness for her in the books.
