@robandhaley: The men who were originally convicted for the Austin yogurt shop murd*rs have been exonerated months after the k*ller was finally caught 🙌🏼👏🏼 #truecrimetok #truecrimestory #solvedcase #coldcasessolved #coldcase
The number of wrongful convictions in the 1980s and ‘90s is actually crazy. It usually ends up being because of some ego-driven detective refusing to look at other leads in a case and in the process ruining innocent people’s lives.

And if he had served his full term after shooting that woman, the yogurt shop victims would be alive.

I’m so glad they preserved evidence so it could be tested later, and that the new detective stuck with the case until it was really solved. To say I feel for the wrongfully convicted men is an understatement. Despite laws and rights and defense attorneys, when you’re charged you’re still pretty much at the mercy of so many like the judge and jury let alone the press and public opinion. Our justice system may still be the best but it’s far from perfect.

All that time in prison that they'll never get back. I couldn't imagine being wrongfully convicted. These prosecutors dont care as long as they have someone to lock up. Our system needs a major overhaul
