@jessnuremberg: Replying to @Maria Ilardi I froze my eggs four times in my 30s because I knew I wanted to be a mom. What I did not know was that I would one day consider becoming a single mom by choice. That idea never even crossed my mind back then. If you are scared and not ready to make that decision yet, that is okay. You do not have to decide everything today. But here is what I wish someone had told me. I wish I had made embryos sooner instead of just keeping eggs on ice. Creating embryos does not mean you have to transfer them. It just gives you information. Because until you have an embryo, you truly do not know what you are working with or what your real chances are. This is the hindsight I carry. And I share it so you can make informed choices, not fearful ones. Follow for honest conversations about fertility, IVF, and building a family on your own. #SingleMomByChoice #eggfreezing #ivf #embryo
Is there a protocol that worked best or anything you did to help get healthy embryos?

Kathryn | IVF :
Yes!! I am 35 but did three rounds of egg freezing due to sperm issues and we lost every egg except one when we finally did a thawing and fertilization round. It was devastating. Wish so badly I had gone with a sperm donor sooner. 💗

I’m considering this process myself, but I’m still scared 😱 I’m a very rational and realistic person and I’m thinking and probably spiraling about everything from starting ivf to when/if I get a child will be 20yrs. It’s really overwhelming and I feel like it should be a «no» rather than «yes» to do it bc it should feel easier forbit to be a yes? 🤯😫😔
