According to the Flint Township Police Department, officers discovered the children unattended inside their Flint residence on Feb. 18. Police arrested 35-year-old Krystal Farmer on allegations including two counts of child abandonment, four counts of child abuse, and providing false information to investigators. In a statement shared on Facebook, the department described disturbing conditions inside the house, reporting that it was strewn with garbage and that the walls were smeared with human waste.
