Words can’t express how much I love Nagumo, down to his character design, writing, lore, development, and personality, there’s too many things to write about. Nagumo is cheery and charming while being secretive and close to his own heart, he never lets anyone in after Rion dies and Sakamoto leaves the Order, he had enough of losing people but chooses to go on masking himself with a smile even though he knows he will always be true to himself when he’s with Rion and Sakamoto. He never asks for help, never tells anybody what he’s feeling, that being obvious as he never expresses to Sakamoto how leaving the Order without a good bye has affected him. Nagumo is preserved by nature being allured to the sense of freedom Rion and Sakamoto gave in his time at the JCC. He willingly chooses to be an assassin despite being known as the heir to a prestigious spy family. Nagumo yearns for his youth again, he yearns for the time he was happy with Rion and Sakamoto, regardless of if he was in love with Rion or he loved his friends far more than he showed. Nagumo retains the lessons he learned from his family, being secretive, not reaching out a hand for help. No matter what he’s compassionate to others and is sentimental, stubborn, and unwilling to let anything go. A man too stubborn to be called a man, he mentally never lets go of his youthful years with his friends, physically too, still yearning for what he can’t have, looking for an answer to a question that has already been answered. In his moments of isolation he chooses to keep himself in not letting anybody in “staying away from people”. He’s extroverted and introverted, wanting to stay inside when he can, sleeping when he can, playing when he can. He's always happy, laid back, and joyful when he’s working, teasing his coworkers and anyone else who’s close to him falls victim to his teasing. Although he acts joyous he gets serious about his friends and what he thinks is for the best. He’d do anything for his friends, even the lowest just for a scrap of information.
