In a private parking lot in Michigan it doesn’t even matter who hit you. I’ve had this happen to my car. I called the cops thinking they were going to get the security camera footage but they literally told me its a private parking lot which was Walmart and to just call my insurance company. I did right after and they took care of everything, I didn’t even have to pay my deductible and my insurance never went up. Pretty simple.
