Things that actually helped me lose fat that might actually surprise people 👀 I’m not naturally skinny. I never have been. My body gains fat FAST if I stop paying attention, and for the longest time I thought the answer was being more extreme. More cardio. Less food. Cutting out everything I loved🤦🏽‍♀️ What helped me was: -Eating MORE protein instead of trying to eat as little as possible -Sleeping 8+ hours instead of waking up at 5am exhausted -Walking daily instead of killing myself with hours of cardio -Lifting weights instead of only trying to “burn calories” -Having dessert in moderation instead of cutting it out completely -Managing stress because high stress had me holding onto weight BAD -Sticking to a routine so I didn’t have to rely on motivation -Eating balanced meals so I stopped bingeing later at night -Focusing on consistency over perfection -Realizing fat loss is way more about habits than punishment The truth is, the things that finally changed my body weren’t extreme… they were sustainable. And sustainable for ME. What may be sustainable for me, may not be sustainable for you. So start to understand your body type, focus on your why and build these healthy habits one day at a time!!
