🎉 ROCKY’S FREEDOM RIDE 🎉 A few days ago, I was about to leave the shelter when one of the employees asked me if I could take a little time to meet one dog who really needed help and had been so depressed ever since his arrival. They told me Rocky had lost seven pounds in just one week, and he had stopped eating and was refusing his food. That day, I decided to record Rocky’s video and share it with the world…🥹 And that’s when Tina , and her family, who happened to live just 30 minutes away watched his story, and they just knew that Rocky belonged with them. ❤️ The very next day, they went to the shelter to meet him, and that day, they adopted Rocky. 🥹❤️ Ever since, they’ve been sharing updates saying that he is adjusting perfectly to his new home and that from now on, he doesn’t have to worry about a thing anymore. He is HOME. 🏡❤️ They will never, ever let him go, and they will make sure that every day from now on, Rocky gets the love he deserves for the rest of his life. This is why I will never stop saying IT TAKES A VILLAGE. You all helped me share his video. You all helped me get him seen and reach the right family…🥹 To the family who adopted Rocky : I can never thank you enough for saving his life and for giving him the most beautiful gift any shelter dog could ever ask for: A family. A forever home. And a lifetime of love. ❤️ Rocky went from losing weight, refusing to eat, and feeling completely defeated… to walking out of the shelter with a family of his own and a smile on his face… Sometimes, all it takes is one person willing to tell their story and a village willing to help that story reach the right person.
