I put mine on 3 years ago, it works great and is still on. be sure to wipe down where your going to place it so it sticks and lasts.

You can also put it on the other side of the door as well if you really want to seal it up when the door is closed.

Make sure you get a C02 detector. Those gaps are useful to let oxygen into your space.
