I would eat watermelon the first few days after chemo. It’s hydrating and food.

Girl I did chemo and immunotherapy and I was OBSESSED with oranges. I ate like 10-15 a day for months. No joke. They helped sooooooo much.

May not work for you, but I usually take a gummy close to bedtime because the THC keeps me from having nearly as many nightmares or dreams.

The crystal lite mango/peach packets are tolerable for me. The lemonade too. Chemo for me tomorrow 😑. I’m getting myself prepared to “embrace the suck”

maybe supplemental IV fluids administered at your home may help with dehydration. I’m sure you get some after chemo but may be having some administered during your recovery might help. thinking of you. ✨✨

My niece who had a terminal diagnosis was afraid to sleep. She always wanted someone with her when she slept. it gave her comfort so she could sleep.

Can you ask to get IV fluids after chemo? My cousin did this (the day after) every time and it helped with the nausea and fatigue so much.

Hi! Onc NP here. So you see pal care? I feel like they could really help with the nausea and anxiety. Does your Onc offer fluids during the days you can’t drink? Feel free to send me a DM

I had terrible nightmares during chemo and was prescribed A t i v a n, which helped tremendously. My oncologist chose that bc it helped with nightmares.
