Chicken and green bean stir fry. This recipe is also featured in my cookbook if you’re interested in checking it out ☺️ Ingredients: 4 boneless skinless chicken thighs 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1 large carrot 1/2 a medium onion 1 cup colorful bell peppers 6 oz fresh green beans 3 garlic cloves minced 2 tablespoons oil for chicken 1 1/2 tablespoons oil for vegetables Sauce: 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce 2 tablespoons oyster sauce 1 teaspoon ginger paste 1 tablespoon honey 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch Directions: Clean chicken and pat dry. Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces. Place the chicken in a bowl and season it with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Then pour 1 teaspoon of soy sauce onto the chicken. Mix and set aside. Clean and slice vegetables. Set aside. Combine all of the sauce ingredients and mix them well. Set aside. Heat up oil in a pan, and start by cooking the chicken. Once it is cooked through, remove from the pan along with any juices. To the same pan, add more oil to cook the veggies, starting with the carrots. Allow them to cook for approximately 4-5 minutes so they have time to soften. If you like softer green beans, add them with the carrots, if you like them on the firm side, add them in next with the onions and bell peppers. Sauté until they soften to your liking. Then add in the garlic and cook until fragrant. Next, pour in the sauce and add back in the chicken and it’s juices. Mix until the chicken and vegetables are well coated with the sauce. Allow the chicken and vegetables to simmer in the sauce for an additional 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy. #recipes #chickenthighs #dinnerrecipe
