People saying these will get moldy, yes. But so do all the other bath toys. No bath toy is safe from mold. Take care of them, and you’ll be just fine.

That material is porous, water will seep in, and you’ll get pink mold growing on everything. Can’t wash it out.

For those concerned about mold, it won’t grow mold if you separate the pieces and let them air dry correctly. The blocks don’t have holes so water cannot get trapped inside. There’s no internal cavity that can grow mold
