That goal is amazing. You could still do it but since you have no capital a good way to get your foot in the door is with media. You seem extremely educated on plenty of topics so you can spin up a YouTube & blog speaking about the energy markets & supply chain to gain credibility that way then raise money. There’s a guy in the tech VC world who did that exact thing named Packy McCormick who writes a blog called Not Boring & went on to start a $40M fund

I’ve been looking into stuff like this for a career and I’m thinking of doing infrastructure development or energy finance in Central Asia or Africa. I’m really interested in Central Asia because of the culture and everything and I want to learn Russian but I’m wondering if Africa is a better deal like you said. Africa really is the future and it looks like you could get a great ROI on infrastructure or energy. Only thing I’m worried about is corruption in both places

As an eastern African that studied supply chains I’m tryna do the same but on the eastern side but there isn’t as much opportunities or quite frankly stability to pull it off but it’s definitely a goal of mine in th distant future as well
