@nicknamed.bree: 👀📱 Social media doesn’t typically destabilize securely attached people in the ways we might expect to see with insecure attachment styles. When securely attached people see their partner having fun with coworkers, friends, family…jealousy is not usually their immediate emotional experience. Instead of feeling threatened, they feel happy for their person (& recognize that if their partner having a good looking coworker is the thing that puts the relationship in jeopardy, it was never meant to be). Individuals with secure attachment styles are often happy for others & rarely make any temporary feelings of envy anyone else’s problem. That’s not to say that people with secure attachment styles don’t sometimes feel insecure, but they have the tools to work through it themselves or the skills ask for reassurance in a healthy way when it’s needed. This video is just one example of how the thoughts of a securely attached person might sound. #secureattachment #T#TikTokLearningCampaignl#learnontiktok #todayilearned
