I had brain tumour which was never diagnosed. Went to GP several times with severe headaches & vomitings but each time I was dismissed. Went to India to see my parents & severe headaches my parents to took me family doctor & doctor said this headache isn’t normal, immediate scan & tadaaaa diagnosed with brain tumour & 3rd of my visit got operated where I had only 20% chances of survival due to misdiagnosis

In other European countries women every year are going to gynaecologists for regular check ups but uk doesn’t have any thing like this until something goes wrong with you until there do the referral is to late

I was told I had something called fibromyalgia it turned out it was leukaemia and I was so bad I was given 48hours to live 18 month am still here buts it been hard and unfair it's still not over 🥺

the UK GPs not care.. I've even reported the GP and they told me they hes one of the top doctors in the GP and push me alone. by lucky for me I got a specialist to help me.

My sister visited her GP 9 times, was treated for indigestion. She was sent to her dentist for jaw pain, went to A&E because she collapsed . Was sent away by A&E being told that it was neither an accident or an emergency. 5 days later she died at home from cardiac arrest

I was told for years I had Ibs. My stomach was so bad I stopped going out. I said eventually enough is enough. Turns out it was severe bile malabsorption!

My GP doesn’t care. I have endometriosis,Adenomyosis,fibromyalgia,cyst on ovaries lots of things.But they doesn’t care.Please make a video how to complain about them .Which service gives me better treatment please tell me.

my gp told me TO GO PRIVATE ! AFTER i got a fibroscan independently and results sent to GP SURGERY ! HE refused multiple times to refer me to liver specialist despite high readings :(

GP's still don't listen! 6 years I've been going to the doctors insisting something is wrong, I keep getting new symptoms but because my bloods are always borderline they don't act on anything! It's infuriating and I'm close to giving up as I am just existing, not living.

Same here, then I went private and i was diagnosed with cancer! Then they fast tracked my case but i was already stage 3

I know 2 women with delayed cancer diagnosis because they were ignored by GPs. One died.

I had this happen to be turned out I had a 26 cm lymphoma on my cervix! But my GP now is wonderful you must keep pushing

Even if I bring Jess rule up I’m still ignored. Last year I was at the drs 40 times, 21 in A&E and 8 of those ended up in me being admitted and the others usually meant I ended up on antibiotics

I feel very dismissed and neglected whenever I report my condition to my GP. I had to beg for an MRI which they became dismissive. Eventually, I was taken to hospital by ambulance due to bilateral sciatica and reduced sensation in my legs, where I had an MRI that fortunately came back normal. However, my condition has continued to worsen , I now have reduced bowel control, decreased mobility, and increased back pain, on top of a 20-year history of chronic back pain. Whenever I inform my GP that my symptoms are getting worse, they simply refer back to the MRI result being normal and advise me to take paracetamol. I do not feel that my concerns are being taken seriously, especially given the progression of my symptoms and the impact on my daily functioning.

I’ve been 3 times to the gp now and that with a hospital stay in the middle of those 3 appointments. She referred me for an ultrasound but said she can’t speed up my gyno referral as they’ve told gps not to send more letters to speed it up. I’m thinking of going private. But what makes me made we pay like 2k a month in takes and this is how we get treated it makes me sick. If something is wrong with me, which I know there is I will find someone to blame without a doubt
