i'm just so frustrated I would like to journal, but my brain works so much quicker than my hand and then I feel like I don't write down exactly what I mean because of it like my thoughts come and go

i also used to journal a lot as a teen and now that i'm an adult, i recently got back into it and i do get overwhelmed sometimes when i see journaltok videos but i think the best thing is to just focus on what works for you and now i love journaling again🥰

you don't have to journal if you don't feel like it or force ideas. don't make it a chore but journal when you have something to write abt n if u don't, then don't.

I also hate how journaling how now become more of showing how aesthetically pleasing it is with all the bells and whistles of stickers and ephemera, I feel like journaling should be more about writing stuff down, so I don’t consider purely junk journals as journals they are more scrapbooks for me
