Yep. My first birth was so crazy and I definitely looked like a wild animal. But my next one which was a scheduled C-section I had the best time I came walking in was all calm, peaceful ready to eat afterwards it was such a different experience. I was very lucky.

tbh, id expect looking rough, because the both of you (or multiple) just went through 9 months of rough work together! I had 4 csections, and only 2 were on their planned day. the girls..well..they had other plans 😂 (my oldest after 48 hours of labor and my youngest decided 3 days before her C-section date that she was done baking). my boys were content to stay until forcibly evicted

I had urgent c-sections with my first 2 kids. My 3rd was a scheduled c-section. I went to my hairdresser and got my hair French braided. I got waxed. I was ready.
