@drdavidabbasi: This is what it takes to be a neurosurgeon. 🧠 Watch the precision. Every single movement is deliberate, controlled, and calculated. There is no room for error — not even a millimeter of it. Neurosurgeons operate in spaces smaller than a grain of rice, on structures responsible for everything that makes you human. Your ability to move, speak, think, feel, remember — all of it runs through the tissue they're working on. One wrong cut doesn't mean a complication. It can mean paralysis. It can mean loss of speech. It can mean the person on that table never wakes up the same. That's not pressure. That's the job. Every single day. The average neurosurgeon trains for 14-16 years before they're trusted to operate alone. Their hands are insured. Their focus is inhuman. Their margin for error is zero. Now you know why they get paid what they get paid. 💡 ✅Follow @drdavidabbasi for More Daily Medical Content & Health Tips! 🌴😷Schedule a consultation to see Dr. Abbasi as a patient in Delray Beach! We unfortunately live in a world where streamers, OF models, and even midnight ballerinas make more money than such a beautiful career of a surgeon

Hi everyone! I’m a 17-year-old girl about to start my senior year of high school. This year, I’m planning to take advanced biology and chemistry courses because my dream is to go to medical school.
In my country, medical school lasts for 6 years, followed by another 3 years of residency to specialize in pediatrics. I am especially looking to hear from pediatricians or med students: do you think this is too many years? Everyone keeps telling me that medicine is the hardest path possible, and honestly, it gets a bit overwhelming.
How did you manage to get through it? Do you think I can make it? 🥺 I would love to get some tips or words of advice from your experience. Thank you so much!

Honestly they deserve millions. If my daughter required a surgery that was life or death. And it requires a special set of hands. We need more. I wouldn’t put a price on my child even if I died in debt.
